Context in India
Experience fast-growing, dynamic and modern India as part of a pioneering fellowship in Bengaluru. A city of contrasts where rapid development has left 35% of the population still living in slums. This Fellowship is an opportunity to take a trailblazing role and learn from the inspiring work our partner has already started.
Objective
We will support the existing work of Mantra 4 Change, an inspirational NGO set up by Teach for India alumni. We will support their STEP project (School Transformation and Empowerment Project) and work to directly improve the quality of education within the government school system. We will do this by co-designing training workshops with Mantra and providing intensive school support.

The quality of these relationships had a big impact on the feedback and support they were able to offer. Many of the teachers spoke about the lasting impact working with the fellows will have on their continuing professional development but also the personal impact it had had on their lives.
